The No Kill Advocacy Center is a legal advocacy organization of attorneys that reforms shelters through litigation, legislation, education, consultation, training, and other assistance.

Nathan Winograd is the Director of the No Kill Advocacy Center and founder of America’s first No Kill community in Ithaca, NY. In 2001, he transformed the Tompkins County SPCA from a hostile high-kill pound into the true No kill shelter that it remains today...
