ACC kill-lists animals for shelter-induced illnesses.
Animals get
shelter-induced illnesses
because of unsanitary conditions at the ACC.
Cockroaches have been seen in cages.
CIRDC is
Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, or Kennel Cough.
It's the equivalent of a cold.
When dogs get CIRDC, they are put in ISO
and while there they
aren't seen by the public for potential adoptions.
And then they are usually kill-listed.

Also she needs to explain why every dog coming into ACC is sedated for an intake examination? At the ACC dogs are often overdosed with drugs. When we take our animals to a vet for a visit, they are not sedated. If a muzzle is needed, they are available.
Sedation raises the risk for pnuemonia.
When anyone, human or animal is sedated with an
anesthetic, the risk is higher for pneumonia. And
if the pathogens are present in the facility,
these dogs could readily contract it while under sedation.
"Most anesthetics cause a loss of muscle tone that is accompanied by a fall in the resting lung volume. The lowered lung volume promotes cyclic (tidal) or continuous airway closure. High inspired oxygen fractions cause rapid absorption of gas behind closed airways, resulting in atelectasis" **
The unsanitary conditions at the 3 shelters is horrendous and breeds respiratory conditions.
The ACC killed Frostine because she got CIRDC (a cold).
Frostine was a publicly adoptable dog.
Medical care usually withheld.
Animals sit in cages suffering.
Also it's unclear what the ACC does with their Star Fund dollars,
or if it still exists.

King was medically mistreated by the ACC.
The ACC killed King, rather than give him the appropriate care.
Rescuers had gotten King a rescue and a medical foster
