Philadelphia's Kill Pound

ACCT Philly

Main/NYCACC

ACCT Philly is Philadelphia's animal control provider aka kill pound.
Aurora Velasquez and Summer Dolder, both well known for the abusive treatment of animals at the New York City kill pound Main/NYCACC, were hired by ACCT Philly.

While at NYCACC, Summer played her infamous part in Maverick's dragging death, which was also reported in the NY Post.

Maverick's brutal dragging death.
Maverick was dragged to his death on 5-16-19. The police officer who brought Maverick to the ACC was shocked by his brutal killing and said that Maverick was NOT aggressive.

A horrifying video was recorded on Thursday, May 9th, 2019, at the New York City pound in Manhattan. The video shows a 'euth tech' attempting to block the view of a rescue volunteer who bravely kept recording as uncaring ACC employees dragged a frightened dog named Maverick to the kill room. Maverick seemed to sense his fate and resisted his killers by lying down, showing no sign of aggression. - Petition

End the killing and spay-neuter-kill at NYC Animal Care & Control.

Dogs and cats may suffer from botched surgery at the hands of the ASPCA,
are then returned to the unsanitary ACC shelter environment
ultimately to get stressed and sick and euthanized
rather than properly treated for their illnesses.

A denial by the Philly kill pound (ACCT Philly)

ACCT Philly has denied that Summer Dolder is on their staff.

There was a rumor that Dolder was in Hawaii.

Dolder is still listed as working at ACCT Philly.

"There has been a TON of backlash about the conditions of the shelter, mass exodus of all good staff,
Acct being cited by the dog warden for the conditions they found upon inspection & referred them to PSPCA for cruelty."

Hopefully neither Velasquez and Dolder will NOT find future work with animals, and Philadephia will make humane choices.
