The article called out Senator Monica Martinez and Voters for Animal Rights' Allie Feldman, for being against CAPA. Allie Feldman supports the killing at the ACC. Both Martinez and Feldman were embarassed and tried to censure this Op-Ed.

Daily News Editor Josh Greenman caved under pressure, and prevented author Dana Fuchs from exposing Allie Feldman of Voters for Animal Rights (VFAR). Dana Fuchs was forced to make changes to her op-ed. The Daily News published the edited version on 12-11-19. The truth about VFAR/Allie Feldman not supporting CAPA was removed.
Allie Feldman has not responded that she supports CAPA or a No Kill New York.
