Best Friends lobbies agaisnt shelter reform.
They have their headquarters in Utah where the brutal practice of gassing pets is still practiced. They have not created effective improvements at Palm Valley Animal Shelter in Edinburg, Texas. Still much abuse and killing In New York City they do little to nothing to save the lives of homeless, death row animals. They fight against life-saving legislation.
